Julie Lawrence, Barn Manager

Julie is our head instructor and barn manager.  She is also a partner in Lakes Region Riding Academy. 

Julie has ridden Hunt Seat and Stock Seat.  She has taught over 300 children and adults in the Lakes Region and has shared with them the joy she gets from being around horses.  Julie teaches her students how to ride English or Western style, utilizing safety and well-grounded knowledge.

Tom Holly, Barn Manager

Tom has been a horseman most of his life.  As a young man, he worked as a groom for gaited horses, traveling to many shows.  He has given clinics in gymkhana techniques and has helped many people fulfill their dreams of showing and riding horses. 

Tom has a big heart and has recently agreed to be the coach for the Inter-Lakes High School Equestrian Team’s 2008 season. 

Tom and his American Paint Horse, Katie’s Kowboy have qualified for the National Barrel Horse Association’s World Show.
